Should you choose Scout LLM or Searchable for AI search visibility?
Searchable is the broader product and, on published prices, the cheaper one per prompt, because its entry plan meters 100 prompts per model for $125 a month and adds generated articles, technical site audits and an agent on top of tracking. Scout LLM is narrower on purpose. It starts at a free plan rather than a trial, targets a named city as a real location signal rather than a country or region, and publishes exactly which engines each plan tracks. Choose on shape, not on price. If you want one tool that measures and then writes and audits, Searchable covers more ground. If you want measurement you can localise to a city and a free tier to prove the idea first, that is us.

Which one should you choose?
Choose Scout LLM if
You want to start free rather than on a trial clock, you track answers city by city rather than country by country, or you want the engines on your plan named in writing before you pay.
Choose Searchable if
You want article generation and technical site audits in the same tool as the tracking, you need many more prompts per month than we meter, or you want API access and white-label at $400 a month rather than at our Agency tier.

| Scout LLM | Searchable | |
|---|---|---|
| Entry price | Free plan, then A$149 a month. | $125 a month (Pro), with a 14-day free trial. Their pricing page marks the currency with a bare dollar sign and the company is registered in the United Kingdom. |
| Free tier | A free plan with 1 brand and 3 prompts, which does not expire. | A 14-day free trial of Pro, plus free standalone tools. |
| Prompts on the entry paid plan | 40 prompts. | 100 tracked prompts per model. |
| Engines | A pool of five, which are ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Google AI Overview and Google AI Mode. Paid plans track any four, and Claude is a paid add-on. | Their plan table offers a selection made during onboarding from ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity, Copilot, DeepSeek, Google AI Mode, Gemini, Grok and Claude. The FAQ on the same page describes Copilot, Claude, Grok and DeepSeek as add-ons and names three base engines, so confirm the coverage on your plan. |
| Geographic precision | Global, country, or a named city, passed as a native location signal rather than added to the prompt text. | Unlimited countries and regions on every published tier, with region and location analytics. City-level targeting is not published. |
| Seats | Unlimited on every paid plan. | Unlimited on Pro, Scale and Enterprise. |
| White-label and API | White-label reporting and a read-only API over MCP and REST, both on Agency (A$1,299 a month). | White-label reports, API access and Looker Studio from Scale ($400 a month). MCP is included from Pro. |
| Beyond measurement | Cited-source analysis, competitor discovery from the answers, and a fix loop that records whether a published change moved the answer. | Generated articles (20, 80 and 200 a month by tier), technical site audits, an AI shopping agent checker, and integrations with Google Analytics, Search Console, HubSpot and Salesforce. |
Searchable details were read from the sources at the foot of this page on 3 September 2026. Both products change, so check their pricing page before you decide on a number.
What do the two products actually measure?
Both run your prompts against the engines on a daily schedule and record whether your brand was named, so the raw measurement is the same kind of thing. The differences are in what a prompt costs you and where it is asked from.
Searchable meters prompts per model, which is the more generous arrangement and worth understanding before comparing headline numbers. A hundred prompts on their entry plan means a hundred against each engine you have selected, not a hundred split between them. We meter prompts in total and multiply by the engines on your plan, so 40 prompts on Starter is 40 questions asked of four engines.
Where we differ substantively is location. Their published tiers give unlimited countries and regions, which is genuinely more markets than our Starter plan allows. What they do not publish is city-level targeting, and that is the axis we built on. A prompt carries a city token that becomes a native location parameter, so an answer measured for Sydney is a Sydney search rather than a national result with a city name added to the question.
Where does the pricing actually differ?
On prompts per pound or dollar, Searchable is the cheaper product and we would rather say so than have you work it out after signing up. Their entry plan is $125 a month for 100 prompts per model. Ours is A$149 for 40 prompts across four engines. If prompt volume is the constraint, that comparison is not close.
The comparison changes at the two ends. At the bottom, we publish a free plan that does not expire, so a team can measure one brand on three prompts indefinitely before deciding anything. They publish a 14-day trial. At the top, their Enterprise tier is $999 a month against our Agency at A$1,299, and what each buys is different enough that the numbers are not really comparable. Theirs adds volume and audits, ours adds unlimited brands and regions.
One practical note on currency. Their pricing page shows a bare dollar sign with no currency code anywhere on it, and the company is registered in London, so confirm what you will actually be billed before you convert anything.
Which one should you actually choose?
If your problem is that you do not know where you stand and you want to find out before committing budget, start on our free plan, and there is nothing to cancel. If your problem is that you know where you stand and now need to produce content and fix a site, Searchable does more of that in one place than we do, and we do not generate articles at all.
If you sell in specific cities rather than a country, that is the clearest reason to pick us, because a national average hides both the cities you win and the ones you lose. If you sell across many countries at once and want volume, their metering suits that better than ours.
A word on this page. We build one of the two products on it, which is a conflict of interest, and the honest response is to state where they beat us rather than to omit those rows. Every figure above was read from their own pricing page on the date at the top of this page and is linked below, so you can check it rather than trust us.
Frequently asked questions
Is Searchable cheaper than Scout LLM?
Per prompt, yes. Their entry plan is $125 a month for 100 tracked prompts per model, against A$149 for 40 prompts on our Starter plan. We are cheaper only at the very bottom, where we publish a free plan that does not expire and they publish a 14-day trial.
Does Searchable track Google AI Overview?
Yes. Google AI Overviews appears in the engine list on their pricing page and in the description of their entry plan. We also track it, on Professional and above.
Can either tool track a single city?
We can. A tracked prompt carries a city token that becomes a native location parameter on the engines that accept one. Searchable publishes unlimited countries and regions with region and location analytics, but no city-level targeting on its pricing page, so ask them directly if city precision is the deciding factor.
Which engines does each product cover?
We track a pool of five (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Google AI Overview, Google AI Mode) with any four on a paid plan, and sell Claude as an add-on. Searchable lists nine engines to choose from during onboarding, while the FAQ on the same page describes Copilot, Claude, Grok and DeepSeek as add-ons, so confirm your plan covers the engines you need.
Does Searchable generate content?
Yes, and we do not. Their plans include 20, 80 and 200 generated articles a month by tier, plus technical site audits. If having measurement and production in one tool matters to you, that is a real reason to choose them.
